Tree Type: Know as the "King of Kings" this beautiful tree can be found presiding over pastures, providing shade in urban parks and suburban neighborhoods and thriving in natural stands throughout the eastern United States and southeastern Canada. It is also the state tree of Connecticut, Illinois and Maryland.

Growth Rate: Slow to Medium

Mature Size: Grows to a heights of 50–80' and a spread of 50–80' at maturity.

Sun Preference: Full sun is the ideal condition for this tree, as is partial shade.

Soil Preference:
 The White Oak grows in Acidic, Drought Tolerant, Moist, Well Drained soils.​
